Ricardo Litvak
Founder & CEO

Ricardo Litvak founded Litvak & Co. with the vision of bringing the legacy of traditional Private Banking to 21st-century investors. He is committed to building a firm that provides his clients with independent and insightful wealth management, strategic global advice, and access to the most advanced technologies of the digital age. A third-generation banker, Ricardo has spent more than 25 years on Wall Street. Most recently, he was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley, where he built and managed a $4 billion global private wealth business. Earlier he co-founded and managed the New York Latin America Group at Donaldson Lufkin & Jenrette. In the 1990s, he pioneered Latin American Derivatives at Bear Stearns and later Emerging Markets Derivatives at Salomon Brothers. He began his Wall Street career in 1987, when banker Edmond Safra asked him to join Republic National Bank. Ricardo earned a BA in economics from McGill University and an MBA in finance from Babson College. He holds Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses. A voracious reader of history and biography, Ricardo is also a passionate golfer who serves on the Board of Directors of Redding Country Club. He also is an active supporter of educational causes in Latin America, including a long-standing involvement with the World Fund. Born in Chile and raised in Montreal, he lives in Connecticut with his wife and five children.

Juliana Fajardo
President & COO

Juliana Fajardo is responsible for the Operations, Legal, and Human Resources departments at Litvak & Co. In addition to serving as the firm’s President and COO, she is the Chief Compliance Officer of Litvak Wealth, Chair of the Operating Committee, and a member of both the Management and Investment Committees. With more than 10 years of financial industry experience, Juliana was most recently a Wealth Advisor for Morgan Stanley’s Private Wealth Management (PWM) department, focusing on ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, foundations, and endowments. Earlier she was responsible for managing the onboarding process in PWM, delivering a seamless transition experience for new teams joining the division. In this role, she also acted as the point person for the creation of policies, procedures, and application of training modules for the PWM business. Juliana worked closely with Morgan Stanley’s Legal departments, its Anti Money Laundering division, as well as its Compliance team to fulfill customer identification programs and procedures related to domestic and non-U.S. client onboarding. She began her career as an Operations and Compliance Analyst at Credicorp Securities in Miami. Juliana received a BA in economics and international relations from the University of Miami. She holds Series 7 and 66 licenses. A native of Colombia and a resident of New York, she is an active volunteer for the Colombian Education Fund and supports Aid for Aids and the ALS Association.

Jeffrey Boris
CIO, Head of Investments & Research

Jeff Boris is responsible for Portfolio Management, Research, and Client Communication at Litvak & Co. As our day-to-day link with Wall Street and global capital markets, Jeff is Chair of the firm’s Investment Committee. He also is a member of both our Operating and Management Committees. Jeff joined Litvak & Co. from Commonfund in Wilton CT, where he was Director of Equities. His responsibilities included managing portfolio construction, ongoing portfolio rebalancing, as well as manager due diligence, evaluation and selection for the firm’s domestic and global equity portfolios totaling more than $4 billion in assets. Earlier he worked as an Equity Analyst at State Street Research & Management Company in Boston and as a Vice President of Sales and Trading at Everen Securities in both Boston and San Francisco. Jeff received a BA in political science from Boston College and an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He holds Series 7, 65 and 63 licenses. An accomplished athlete, Jeff was named USA Triathlon All-American in 2013, 2011, and 2010. He also participated in the 2010 and 2011 Ironman 70.3 World Championships and placed in the top 6 percent of the field at the Ironman Lake Placid 2013. He serves as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Ridgefield Bicycle Sports Club. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and two children.

Paulina Pirquet
Operations Analyst

Paulina Pirquet is responsible for custodian system integration, daily platform reconciliation, and client reporting customization.  Paulina joined Litvak & Co. after earning a Bachelor of Science in Finance from The Pennsylvania State University. She was a lead analyst at Penn State's student investment fund and was active in a variety of other extracurricular activities. She was born in United States, raised in Norway, and lived in Switzerland, before moving back to United States. She is bilingual in Norwegian and English and proficient in Swedish, Danish, German, and Spanish. Paulina is an accomplished soccer player and enjoys cross-country skiing, tennis, and fishing. She values volunteering and giving back in her spare time. She has spent a significant amount of time working with the Medical Reserve Corps and has dedicated her time working with various volunteer platforms in Norway.

Steve Miller
Head of Technology

Reflecting the firm’s deep commitment to advanced technology, Steve Miller and his team consult on and implement all facets of the firm’s technology: hardware and software procurement, systems integration, systems maintenance and support, cyber security, disaster recovery planning, collocation services, remote access, mobile connectivity, internet and telephony, in addition to several other competencies. With 20 years of experience, Steve concurrently serves as Senior Technician for Soundshore Technology Group (STG), a boutique IT support and services firm in operation for more than 16 years that acts as the Chief Technology Officer for more than 50 hedge funds, private equity companies, and RIA firms. At STG, he specializes in network infrastructure and videoconferencing systems, and manages the company’s Stamford, CT, IT engineers. Before joining STG, Steve was Vice President – Engineering and Technology at FocusVision Worldwide, Inc. He began his career as a Satellite Communications Engineer at Satellite Showcase in Boulder, CO. Steve earned a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Colorado. He is a working musician, songwriter, and audio engineer. A skilled skier, Steve lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.

Jennifer Taylor
Comptroller

With more than 20 years’ experience in business and financial services, Jennifer Taylor is responsible for Litvak & Co.’s financial well-being. Jennifer’s role includes establishing and monitoring the firm’s accounting systems, organizing financial records, preparing budgets and forecasts, developing internal controls, and issuing timely financial statements. She participates in the firm’s strategic planning and budgeting process and is responsible for preparing monthly financial statements for management as well as monitoring the company’s ongoing financial performance. Jennifer began her career with KPMG and later became a principal at Taylor Financial. Raised in Southern California, she is an avid surfer who lives in New York with her son.
