Never mind Greece, Its going to be Busy Few Days in Terms of Actually Meaningful Investment Data

With the Greek drama dragging on and holding the Market prisoner to what are literally minute to minute headlines, few people are paying attention to actual fundamentals.  Yet, this holiday shortened week is perhaps the busiest all year in terms of economic data here in the U.S.  As just a sampling, we get pending home sales, consumer confidence, Chicago PMI, Auto sales, ISM index, ADP employment, Construction spending, Oil inventories, and finally claims and employment data on Thursday.  Despite all the volatility caused by the uncertainty around the future fate of Greece, the market is only 3 percent off its all-time high and this could be an important next few days in terms of clues as to whether the three-year trend remains in place.
